A Set of Keys

Jingling inside the fish’s stomach was a small set of keys on a faded lanyard. There were car keys, a house key, and even a tiny bottle opener. The corrosion suggested they’d been underwater for quite some time. Locals speculated they may have belonged to a tourist who dropped them near a pier — or maybe something more mysterious. Regardless, the fisherman added them to his growing collection of “things fish shouldn’t eat.” The keys remained unclaimed but unforgettable.
A Bullet Casing

This discovery turned things serious. Among the random objects was a single, tarnished bullet casing. It looked old, possibly from a military round. Theories swirled — was this fish swimming through old war zones? Had it swallowed something thrown overboard to hide evidence? Authorities were notified just in case. Though it was likely harmless, the presence of ammunition inside a fish stirred uneasy conversations about what else might be lurking underwater — and what stories never got told.
